BW9822

BW9822 is a eUSB2 repeater with 10Gbps linear redriver.
The device includes two main function blocks:
1. The eUSB2 Repeater
2. The USB3.2 10Gbps Redriver
 
eUSB2 Repeater

It is a eUSB2 repeater which translates between eUSB2 and USB 2.0 signaling, and it is dual-role capable supporting both host mode and device mode. It supports High-Speed (HS), Full-Speed (FS) and Low-Speed (LS) operation, and consumes ultra-low power in L1/L2 states. It also supports auto-resume for better interoperability in case the host controller is not capable to initiate Resume in time. It provides various registers for function configuration and fine-tuning for USB 2.0 and eUSB2 PHY via RAP (Register Access Protocol) or I2C interface. It is powered by 1.8V and 3.3V, and does not require specific power-on sequence.

USB3.2 Redriver

It is a low-power 10Gbps linear redriver.  It is compliant with the USB 3.2 specification. It provides adjustable equalizer, flat gain controller to compensate for the channel loss, and extends the length and enables the systems to pass USB compliance.  The device optimizes performance when USB signals travel across PCB and cables, signal integrity degrades due to loss and inter-symbol interference.
It offers single supply voltage 3.3V with ultra-low power consumption.  Each channel operates independently.  The advanced power management of it can consume ultra-low power when the channel is idle for a longer time.
